We are looking for a Team Coach to recruit, mentor and develop our Wellbeing Support Workers - the name our care workers co-designed for themselves - to deliver the highest standards of person centred care and to thrive in self-managing teams. The Team Coach will be responsible for going out into communities and finding and meeting new people who need support and talking to them and their families; onboarding new supported people, developing high quality care and support plans.

The Role
To work together with the North East Regional Wellbeing Support Leader to establish effective self managing teams of Wellbeing Support Workers in Northumberland.
To focus on the recruitment and onboarding of new Wellbeing Support Workers, to self-managing teams, delivering outstanding care and support.
To lead on meeting new people and their families and creating high quality, person centred care and support plans for new people to support.
To review our person centred plans with people we are supporting and train some Wellbeing Support Workers to assist with this.
To work as part of a Northumberland Regional coaching team, supporting and covering for coaching colleagues when necessary.
To creatively contribute to our learning and development offer for teams and individuals.
To contribute to an open culture of continuous learning, where we admit mistakes and support one another to achieve.
To contribute to the mentoring and coaching of new Wellbeing Support Workers through probation to achieve the BelleVie Certificate of compassionate care and self management.
To live your values and champion ours as you work with families and coach our Wellbeing Support Workers.
To foster our culture of appreciation and openness, challenging one another to be the best we possibly can.
To support teams with their Practices including medication as well as updating care plans and risk assessments
To put the people we support at the centre of all our thinking, delivering great, imaginative outcomes, whatever their needs
To work closely with the central Leadership team at BelleVie, a team with a variety of skills and experience who will support you to be the best you can.
To work with the Wellbeing Support Worker and Leadership teams to ensure compliance with CQC and work towards an outstanding rating.
To be prepared to help out teams as and when required; e.g. covering visits in an emergency. Our Wellbeing Support Worker shifts are 5 hours long, usually 8am-1pm and 4pm-9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days per year
Weekend on call rota (1 weekend in 3) to provide support over the phone to our teams if they require it
The person we want
Must be able to drive and have their own car
Should have a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, and should either have or be willing to work towards a Level 3
Would be on Full Time or near Full Time hours. Our Wellbeing Support Worker teams work 365 days a year, so we need someone that can be available outside of 'office hours' but we're open to discussions about what your standard hours might be

We will offer you

You will need to be available 1 in 3 weekends and some evenings for taking emergency calls and potentially covering visits, again in an emergency
Salary: £25-30K full time annual salary
We pride ourselves on working flexible hours - walk the dog, collect the children from school around your work. We each take personal responsibility for our outcomes and making sure we’re available to our colleagues. We count outcomes not hours.
